The whole of the above Farm & Cottages has been for some years in the occupation of W.J. Bean lessened however by the 4.08 acres sold during 1901 reducing the reputed 134 acres to about 130 acres.

The marsh and salts are not of much value as grazing ground but chiefly as land on which oyster pits can be made for letting to fishermen. A number of pits already exist see map (area coloured green)

As to Cottages and Garden ground:- The whole of the space marked C. is taken for Gardens - the ½ acre of this space nearest the Houses for many years let for £4 = £8 per acre or 1/- per rod.
The acre lot marked K. let for £8.
Hempstead's Cottage & Garden.100 acre used to let for £6 see H. on plan.
Hardys Cottage and garden at the shore end of paddock marked E. used to let for £4.
Inwoods 4 tenement cottage & garden used to let for £22 10. 0. see plan at L.
Carters double Cottage & Garden .325 acre at M. used to let for £10.
The double tenement cottage J.which is reckoned with the farm is valued at £9 rent.
There is a strip of garden F. .100 acre for the adjoining cottage and there is Storehouse at G. on a little piece of land .100 acre.

Note:- The Cottages are more or less out of repair and do not command the rent they did.
