Seven small building plots forming part of Burnbys Field fronting the sea.

Two acres out of spring field sold to owner of Rosebank. Also to the same person out of Gravel Pit Field.

On these plots a number of houses have been built. The town of Colchester is 9 miles away and there is talk of a light railway or tramway.
The soil at West Mersea is light and sandy with gravel resting on London clay.
