1   In the Name of god amen the twelfe daye of Febreuarie in the yeare of ouer lord one
2   thousande sixe hundered twentie nyne I William Loocke of eastemersey in the Countie of essex yeoman, beinge
3   sicke in boddie yett of a good & p[er]fitt Rememberance, thankes be given to almightie god for the same
4   Revokinge all other willes by me hearto fore made doe nowe make & ordayne this my last will &
5   testamente in Manor & forme followinge Firste I comende my soule into the handes of allmightie
6   god, my Creator & Redemor, and my boddie to the earthe from whence it came thare to be berried
7   at the discrecion of mly executrixe heareafter named as toucheinge my wordly goodes I doe order them
8   in this mannor Followinge, Firste I give & bequeathe unto Susan my wife five poundes of good and
9   .... lawefull monye of england to be paid unto hir within sixe monethes after my decease, and allsoe I give
10   unto my wife <.....> all suche househoulde stuffe & impellementes of househould stuffe as shee had \before/ the
11   tyme of owur Marriage, Item I give & bequeathe unto Margerett my daughter all thouse my [illegible]
12   houses and landes lyinge in eastemersey to hir & hir eayers for ever, Item I give & bequeathe unto
13   Beniamin Willson of westmersey my Kinseman all that my Coppiehould tenemente & lande lyinge in
14   westemersey wheare he nowe dwellethe during e the tearme of his naturall life uppon this Condicion
15   notwithdtandinge that the said Beniamin shall neather sell lett or surrender awaye the same Coppiehould land
16   duering the tearme aforesaid, And allsoe shall keepe the said tenamente and fences in all good and
17   neadefull & nessesarie Reparacions dueringe the tyme afresaid or ealse this gifte to be utterely
18   voyde & of none effecte Item after the death of the said Beniamin Willson, or if he shall breake
19   the Con[n]dicion afore mencion[n]ed, then I give the <....> foresaid tenamente & lande to Margerett
20   my daughter & hir eayers forever It[em] I give unto Susan Carter the daughter of John Carter deseased
21   the some of xx s[hillings] to be paid hir at hir age of xv yeares Item I give unto marthe Fookes the daughter of John
22   Fookes the some of xx s[hillings] to be paid hir at hir age of xv yeares It[em] I give unto the ealdeste daughter
23   of John Till of Steple in Denge hundered the some of xx s[hillings] to be paid unto hir at hir age of xv yeares It[em]
24   I give unto the poore people of this p[ar]ishe the some of ten shillinges to be distrebuted
25   amonxte them within sixe monethes after my deathe at the discrecion of my executrixe heareafter
26   named Item all the Reste of my goodes whatsoerver my dettes xx\& legacies/ beinge payde my funerall expences
27   discharged, I give unto margarett my daugther whom I make & ordayne my sole executrixe of
28   this my last will & testamente, in wittness heareof I have heareunto sett my hande and seale
