He used to live in the house (semi-detached) next up the road from the bungalow, so Herb's wife, Ruby, always known as 'Dick' was brought up there. Herb married in 1918 - did he meet her through 'buses'?! In my 'Mersea days' [1930s] there was a lady we knew as Daisy living there.
NH6101 is a Vulcan 20hp 22 seat charabanc, acquired June 1922.
