Danish steamer KNUT was built Kiel, Germany, 1924. 1,274 tons gross. Mined and lost 23 December 1942 southeast of Bardsey Island.

The Liverpool Journal of Commerce at British Newspaper Archive gives us the date of two visits:
28 May 1937 KNUT sailed Oulu for Stansgate 28-05-37
27 Jul 1937 KNUT for Stansgate from Uuras passed Elsinore
