Alfred Stoker and Grace Hardy's marriage took place on 27 April 1918. This first photograph, outside the church, was perhaps taken while waiting for the bride to arrive. Alfred Stoker (26) Police Constable, Grace Maud Hardy (26) lived in The Square. Grace was known as Gwen within the family to avoid confusion with the other Graces.
