The River Blackwater from Bradwell waterfront. Laid up ships in the distance - the centre and right ships are Royal Mail Lines' DESEADO and DARRO respectively. The left ship is a Union Castle fruit ship.

DARRO was laid up in the Blackwater 12 August 1965 to 13 January 1966, but may have made other visits.

DESEADO was laid up in the River Blackwater August to October 1962 and July to October 1965 Date: c1965.
