Bunny Unwin was born in Hampstead in 1885. In 1912 he married Frances Abigail Smith, daughter of George Frederick and Mary Overall Smith.
Bunny joined the army 15 October 1915 and was posted to the 134 Field Ambulance, Royal Army Medical Corps. He served in France 1916 - 1918 and was awarded the Military Medal for Gallantry. He was discharged from the Army 28th February 1919.
Bunny Unwin died on Mersea in 1961, aged 76 years.
