1.   In the name of god Amen this fourth day of november in the 
2.   thirteenth yeare of our soverand lord Charles by the grace 
3.   of god King of England Scotland France and Ierland
4.   and in the yeare 1661 I William Anger of East mersey in
5.   the County of Essex yeoman beinge Sick in body butt parfict 
6.   in memorie thanks bee too god for itt doe ordaine and make this my last will
7.   and teastamant in manior and Forme Followinge First I bequeath my Soule
8.   into the hands of god that gave itt mee and to Jesus Christ my Redemer and
9.   my body to the earth to bee buried at the decrencion of my exectors hearafter mincioned
10.   and as for the worlie goods  wich god of his marcie hath Lent mee I give and
11.   bee queath as Followeth
12.   Imprimus I give unto my daughter Susand Ainger All that my Freeholld masuage
13.   and tenamant with the apurtnenc[e]s Linge [i.e. lying] and beinge in Eastmarsey afforesaid too shee 
14.   And to her heairs for ever Called by the name of Bazellhowse
15.   or by what other name 
16.   soe ever
17.   Item I give unto my daughter Ann one Longe tabell and one Joyne Cubbard
18.   both standinge in the hall and too Silver spoonns: Item I give untto my daughter
19.   Sarie two Selver spoones: Item I give unto the Chilld that my wife now goes with all
20.   twentie pounds too bee paied when itt shall accumpleshe the Full age of one and
21.   twentie years and if itt Shall happen that the said Chilld doe dye beefore the said
22.   age of one and twentie years then my will is that the said twentie pounds Shall 
23.   bee eaqually devided unto my too daughters Susand and Sarie when theay Shall
24.   acumplish thire seaverall ages of one and twenty years to bee paid by my exectors
25.   heare affter minconed all the Reast of my goods movablls bills bonds debts whatsoever
26.   I give unto Elzebth my wife for and towards the paynge of my debts and Leageses
27.   and Funarall Charges and bringine up of my Childrine:further my will is
28.   that my Lovinge wife and my Lovinge Frind John Burrill of eastmarsey 
29.   afforesaid Shall bee my exectors of this my Last will and teastemant too
30.   See my body deacantly buried & all other things Contaned in this my will
31.   parformed Further my will is that my wife Shall pay unto John Burrill  
32.   Twentie Shillings to be paid Sixmonthes affter my desease Further my will is
33.   that my Loving Frind Jo[hn] Burrill Shall have all neacarie [ie necessary] Charges and
34.   expaines [ie expenses] wich hee Shall bee att for Any thinge/ Concarned in this my will wittness
