Peldon Be it Remembered that
Upon the twenty first Day of October in the
Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred
And seventy two Edward Ransom a copyhold Tenant of this
Manor came before Charles Gray Esquire Steward of the said
Manor and Did surrender into the hands of the Lord of
said Manor by the Rod and by the hands and acceptance of the
said Steward according to the custom of the same Manor All
that Pantile Shop and Pound with the Appurtenances opposite
to the Brick'd Messuage or Tenement now in the occupation of
John Matthewman and holden of the said Manor by Copy of Court
Roll And the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and
Remainders thereof And all the Estate Right Title Interest Property
Claim and Demand whatsoever both at Law and in Equity of him the
said Edward Ransom of in and to the said premises and every part
thereof To the only use and behoof of John White of Peldon in
The County of Essex Farmer and of his Heirs and Assigns absolutely
and for ever according to the custom of the said Manor.
