TitleOwen Ernest Ellis - list of papers
AbstractINVENTORY
Papers belonging to the late Owen Ernest Ellis (1924 - 2013) brought up in Birch in 4, Church Cottages. His mother, Florence (1892 -1981) remained there all her life and was buried in St Peter's Churchyard, Birch. Her maiden name was Bond. His father was Charles E Ellis (1894 - 1968). His parents married in 1917.

Owen worked at Paxman's but was a prolific writer and also attended courses on public speaking. His work, a mix of short stories, articles, poetry and anecdotes is largely fiction but Birch was clearly a big inspiration.
