Houseboat MERRYMAID at Tollesbury. She was owned by the Blott family - a Camper & Nicholson design built in 1904. She was 80 feet LOA and still exists, having languished ay Heybridge Basin for many years before undergoing a huge restoration some years ago. She was bought by John Blott 1949 or 1950 and this picture of her on the Tollesbury saltings dates from the 1950s. MERRYMADE was used as ...
