Houseboat MERRYMAID at Tollesbury. She was owned by the Blott family - a Camper & Nicholson design built in 1904. She was 80 feet LOA and still exists, having languished ay Heybridge Basin for many years before undergoing a huge restoration some years ago. This picture of her on the Tollesbury saltings dates from the 1950s. She was used as 'overspill' from Heartsease, 131 feet LOA! [James Blott - ...
