The whole village turned out in the Square and celebrate and pary "God Save the Queen". Farm wagons and horses were decorated, and flats and banners waved. The brass band can be seen in the foreground. The passageway (rear right) led through to a coal-yard. [Tollesbury Past Figure 2.]
