"I was able to find a match for the engine shown in your picture - published in the Road Locomotive Society's Collection of Historical Photographs by the Major R.J.W. Ind.

Major Ind visited the premises of William Golden Fairhead at Brick House Farm, Peldon, Essex on 14th June 1913 and photo'd the above Left Hand, 14hp (called the 'New 14'), Single Cylinder, ploughing engine number 3051 built by John Fowler of Leeds in 1876.

Mr. Fairhead purchased 3051, and its sister engine number 3052, at a sale in July 1904. This pair received the road registrations NO 3113 and NO 3114 in 1921. The fate of 3051 is not known while that of 3052 appears to be that it was offered for sale in 1923 - again no details of its ultimate demise.
