 Diesel locomotives used for construction of Abberton Reservoir. They were manufactured by John Fowler & Co (Leeds) Ltd the model being the Fowler Resilient 4W Industrial Diesel Locomotive, powered by a 40hp Fowler Sanders 4 cylinder B series engine. These are probably the first 3 locomotives, before they received their names. The works numbers and later names are:

PELDON survives and has been restored to working order at Amberley Museum. Much of LAYER survives in pieces at Armley Mills Industrial Museum near Leeds.
