Ron Green writes: It seems flints to Salcot were usually delivered by Smeed, Dean & Co's barges and Sam Gorf was skipper of HARRY. They had two barges named HARRY and I think this would be the larger later one. She finished her days on the saltings opposite Burnham on Crouch.
