Reverend East (Church of England) and Reverend Hammond (Congregational and Unionist) with Trevor Norris and Fred Levett (Morris Preacher, Levett Singer. Dr Beatty of Ilford and Grove Avenue arranged their visit and they held meetings week nights in a large marquee in Barfield Road in the Meadow where now stands the Fire Station and Health Clinic. A lantern slide or film show is advertised.
The poster advertises "Beautiful Colour Films" and "After-Church Rallies" in the British Legion Hall.
