Person on the far right of this picture thought to be one of my ancestors a William Taylor 1867- c1917 (Rowhedge). His brother, my great grandfather Edward died at sea the year before in 1892. Edward's son William was himself a mariner and the 1911 census shows him in Rowhedge but somehow he became a butler in the USA and lived in Manhatten. His reported employer Gillette! How he made the step from mariner to Gilette butler I have yet to find out. Maybe the America's cup was the connection.
This is a very valuable photo for me
